Let’s, move on to Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. This, my friends, is a real treat. You get to travel around the world showcase and sample various tapas. This fest usually gears up during the Autumn season when the heat isn’t so rough and humid. The best way to tackle this is when you get to the countries, bare right and start with Canada first. For the most part, every time we’ve started with Mexico first, halfway through the countries you get hemmed up in the middle and it’s a sea of crunk folks in Etsy’s best elbow to elbow.
Start your day early as the pavilions open at 11 a.m. If the park gates open sooner, consider enjoying some attractions like Soarin or Test Track, or visit the character spot. It’s best to do this early so that you’re fresh for photos. Alternatively, you may choose to leave the pavilions after 3-4 p.m. to unwind at The Land. As the day progresses, the atmosphere can become quite lively, especially with college students and locals often enthusiastically chanting, “Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A pirate’s life for me.”
Every year, we, a lively group of over ten nurses, plan a trip and rent an Airbnb instead of opting for conventional hotel stays. It’s our preferred way to unwind and enjoy our time together away from work. While we still adore Disney, we prefer the comfort and space of a rented house!
Any hoo, guess what we do? We smuggle in flasks um..er contigo insulated drink bottles filled with our liquor of choice and get tipsy before getting tipsy. Saving per se on paying for that $8 Chardonnay sample.
Oh and get a gift card wrist landyard and load it with money to move swiftly through the food lines. You can purchase at any gift shop. Save time digging through your purse.
Ladies, don’t forget your tiaras so they know who’s princess and guys your ears!!!
