Disney dining plan

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney temporarily suspended their Disney Dining Plan, which vacationers could add to their hotel package. Typically priced at around $78 per night per guest, the plan included one quick service meal, one table service meal, a snack, and drinks.

I almost didn’t purchase this deal because you need to stay on the property to participate. With the rise of Airbnb, I usually opt for 6-7 bedroom, 4 bathroom pool homes, splitting the cost between 3-4 families. This ends up being the same price as a 2-queen suite at the Disney moderate resorts.

You can discover delicious food at any of their quick-service restaurants. Grab a snack here or there, like a turkey leg in Frontierland or a pineapple dole whip ice cream in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, for example. Alternatively, you can rest your weary feet at a table-service restaurant if you prefer, but be prepared for the cost. It’s air-conditioned, comfortable, and quite expensive.
