Seaworld

Next up, SeaWorld. I’ve visited SeaWorld every month since it reopened during the pandemic. Why? Because it offers the best value at an affordable price. Their annual pass holder tiers are much cheaper than Disney’s and come with more benefits. These include monthly specials and freebies like free tickets for friends and family. They also host food festivals and free concerts at different times throughout the year.

SeaWorld has an all-inclusive sampling lanyard, perfect for enjoying various food stands and alcoholic drinks. Additionally, you can enhance your experience with an all-day dining deal. This package includes an entrée, a side or dessert, and a drink at participating restaurants, allowing you to dine every hour at a budget-friendly price. It’s truly a fantastic offer!

Covid protocols are still in place, including mask requirements, sanitizer stations throughout the park, and social distancing measures. Staff members enforce these protocols diligently. Announcements about Covid protocols are made periodically via speaker systems, serving as necessary reminders. The park has also introduced walk-through metal detectors and bag checks on conveyor belts for efficiency. Temperature checks are conducted in groups as guests enter a covered canopy area and are scanned by infrared. Reservations are required, so make sure to check availability before planning your visit and purchasing tickets.

Some rides and shows are temporarily closed due to COVID-19. Unfortunately, my favorite show, Pets Ahoy, is among them. The Wild Arctic and Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin rides are also closed, although their habitat areas remain open. Additionally, the Skytower ride is not operational. Outside stadium shows are limited and arranged to ensure social distancing. Despite these changes, everyone can still have a great time!

Especially for the kiddos, Streetland is a real treat! Sesame Street’s entire cast and characters come to life at the street party parade. Up close and personal greetings make little ones squeal with delight as they pose for photos with their furry monster friends. Don’t forget to bring a suit as there’s a water play area for them to cool off.

My favorite place to eat there is the Underwater Shark Grill, where you can dine alongside the shark tank inside the Shark Encounter attraction. You can request a super secret Magical Dining menu, known only by name, for a prix fixe three-course meal.

Discover the magic at the Pearl Factory store, where you can personally choose an oyster and uncover the stunning pearl hidden inside. You also have the option to mount your treasured find on a ring, pendant, or charm to create a special keepsake.
